Thanks Kaka for doing a great job of using technology to convert to the right format. Thank you Shyam for sharing this unique piece of Bapa. Personally for me and Nandan this means a lot. These were the lullaby's Bapa used to sing when Nandu was a toddler. I wish Bapa was with us for some more time. His constant refrain of "Children want the bread of learning, Parents give them the stone of classics" will forever stay with me. A message perhaps for me to let the canvas be undefined for the kids to put whatever they want.

Dear all,
This has also another significance. When padda fell ill before his finals with suspected Typhoid in Feb 1951, he would go into delirium and in the middle of night invite others to have a darshan (vision ) of Lord Nataraja of Thillai Chidambaram where he was to go on an excursion with his class mates around the time he fell ill and hence could not make it. That Thillai darishanam which he had a vision of is referred to in this song and perhaps it is He who had beckoned him on 07 Apr 2008.
